ZHENZHONG CHEN is currently a Professor at Wuhan University. His current research interests include image video processing and understanding, multimedia communications, computer vision, multimedia data mining, etc. He has participated in JCT-VC H.265/HEVC, JVET VVC, and AVS1/2/3 standardizations, and has been a VQEG board member and Immersive Media Working Group Co-Chair, a Selection Committee Member of ITU Young Innovators Challenges. He is an editor of IEEE TCSVT, JASIST, JVCIR and IEEE IoT Newsletter. He has published more than 150 papers on peer-reviewed journals and conferences such as TCSVT/TIP/TMM/CVPR/IJCAI/MM etc. He has been selected for the Thousand Talents Plan for Young Professionals, as a recipient of CUHK Young Scholar Dissertation Award, CUHK Faculty of Engineering Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis, Microsoft Fellowship.
